Baseball Recap: Joaquin's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Joaquin won the last time they faced Woden and things went their way on Friday too. The Rams came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 8-5 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The win was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Hunter Kay, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

Joaquin's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Woden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Coming up, Joaquin will challenge Gary at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woden, they will square off against Kennard at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.93 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
