Football Recap: First Assembly Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

First Assembly Christian played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels and fell 49-7. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Nix Fullen was his usual excellent self, rushing for 248 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.8 yards per carry for Tipton-Rosemark Academy. Fullen's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 165 rushing yards dating back to last season.

First Assembly Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

First Assembly Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 48-6 defeat against University School of Jackson on the 19th. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 55-21 loss against Evangelical Christian on the 18th.
