Soccer Recap: St. Edward's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

St. Edward's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They skirted past the Port St. Lucie Jaguars 1-0. Rory Barton had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Pirates.

With the victory, St. Edward's broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8. As for Port St. Lucie, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Edward's will face off against Master's Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Port St. Lucie, they will square off against Tradition Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
