Softball Recap: Snook Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Snook Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Morgan Academy Senators. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Senators this season, with their most recent loss being a 5-1 defeat on Thursday.

Snook Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Hayes, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Snook Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Morgan Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Snook Christian Academy will take on Wilcox Academy in a tournament on Friday. Morgan Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sparta Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 13th.
