Volleyball Recap: Bloomer Blackhawks vs. New Richmond Tigers
Bloomer was the 2-0 winner over New Richmond when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bloomer Blackhawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Richmond Tigers on Saturday.
The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15.
Bloomer's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for New Richmond, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.
Bloomer will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Tomah at 5:15 p.m. Bloomer is facing Tomah at the right time seeing as Tomah is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for New Richmond, they will head out on the road to take on Eau Claire North at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Eau Claire North is coming into the contest with six straight wins at home, so New Richmond will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
