Baseball Recap: Cedar Bluff Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cedar Bluff can now relate to. They came up short against the Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Eagles on Friday, falling 20-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since March 25th.

Caleb Edmondson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Cedar Bluff dropped their record down to 21-12-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Decatur Heritage Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 23-5.

While Cedar Bluff had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
