After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tocoi Creek, Atlantic Coast was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 42-9 win over the Stanton Blue Devils. The Stingrays have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 26 points or more this season.

Atlantic Coast can attribute much of their success to Kylie Johnson, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Imani Henderson, who had eight points.

The victory snapped Atlantic Coast's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-7 record. As for Stanton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-14.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Atlantic Coast will square off against Flagler Palm Coast on Thursday. Flagler Palm Coast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season. Stanton has already played their next game (against Parker), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
