THOMASVILLE, N.C. - A big 21-point third quarter helped carry the Golden Eagles to a 36-3 victory over Providence Grove (Franklinville, N.C.) on Saturday.
East Davidson scored on three rushing touchdowns in the quarter, including two by
Michael Ramos.
After taking the lead on an
Austin Wallace touchdown pass to
Nathan Campbell in the first quarter, ED led 8-3 at the half.
The Thomasville school grew its lead to 26 points entering the fourth quarter. The Golden Eagles scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Ramos.
East Davidson (2-0) goes up against Central Davidson in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Providence Grove (0-2) locks horns with Union Pines also in a non-conference game.
