Westerville Central took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Grove City, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warhawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Greyhounds on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Warhawks as they're now sitting on four straight.

The win got Westerville Central back to even at 9-9. As for Grove City, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Westerville Central is set to take on their familiar foe Lincoln at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Grove City will face off against rival New Albany at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
