Football Recap: Valencia's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Wednesday + How To Watch

The Valencia Tigers strolled past the Loara Saxons with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 25-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Saxons are ranked 205th).

Elizabeth Nunez threw for 154 yards and four TDs. Kendra Moyer was her top target, picking up 108 receiving yards and a pair of scores. On the ground, Adrienne Mitchell rushed for 38 yards.

Valencia has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 26.5 points this season. As for Loara, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Valencia has already played their next contest, a 25-12 victory against Rosemead on the 14th. As for Loara, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 19-6 defeat against Pacifica Christian on the 18th.
