Geneva entered their tilt with Lake Mary Prep on Tuesday with six consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with seven. Everything went their way against the Lake Mary Prep Griffins as they made off with a 9-3 victory. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 7, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Geneva let Jeremiah Kavanah and Luke Shaw run wild. Kavanah scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Shaw scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Shaw also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Tyson Hilliard was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Geneva's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Lake Mary Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
