Football Recap: South Sumter's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

South Sumter made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bradford, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Raiders fell just short of the Tornadoes by a score of 14-12 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 45 points in the game before, the Raiders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Although South Sumter took the loss, they still got scores from Landen Sherman and Logan Ward.

Jordan Cason was the offensive standout of the contest as he picked up 82 receiving yards and one TD. Those 82 receiving yards gave him a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Sumter fell to 2-1. As for Bradford, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Sumter will venture away from home to take on Wiregrass Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bradford, they will head out to square off against Mandarin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tornadoes will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
