Baseball Recap: Port St. Lucie Takes a Loss

Port St. Lucie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Edward's Pirates. That's two games in a row now that the Jaguars have lost by exactly three runs.

Port St. Lucie's loss dropped their record down to 1-16-1. As for St. Edward's, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Coming up, Port St. Lucie will head out to square off against Oxbridge Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. Edward's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
