Volleyball Recap: Sonoma Valley Takes a Loss

Sonoma Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Piedmont Highlanders.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14.

Sonoma Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Piedmont, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, Sonoma Valley will venture away from home to take on Justin-Siena at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Dragons their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Piedmont, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Granada on the 30th.
