Kenesaw is 8-2 against Axtell since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Kenesaw saw some tournament action on Monday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 56-19 win over Hampton. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Adam Denkert continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. Those 18 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cole Haahr, who posted seven points and three steals.
Kenesaw smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Axtell took on Dundy County-Stratton on Saturday. Axtell lost to Dundy County-Stratton at home by a 60-43 margin.
Kenesaw will have to contain Jacob Halvorsen as he made an impact in Axtell's last game. He dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. Halvorsen is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Cade Axtell was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.
Kenesaw has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Axtell, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Kenesaw has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 31.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Axtell struggles in that department as they've been averaging 36.8 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
