The Spearfish Spartans's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Belle Fourche Broncs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spearfish will be strutting in after a win while Belle Fourche will be coming in after a loss.

Spearfish was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in November of 2023.
Meanwhile, Belle Fourche was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell just short of Douglas by a score of 3-2. While the Broncs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Patriots 25-22 in the first set.
Belle Fourche took Douglas into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-12, 21-25, 25-21, 15-12.
Spearfish's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. As for Belle Fourche, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17.
Spearfish skirted past Belle Fourche 3-2 in their previous meeting back in October of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Spearfish since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
