Basketball Recap: Warrenton Triumphs

Warrenton lost to St. Dominic back in December of 2014, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Warrenton Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 48-46 win over the St. Dominic Crusaders. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Warrenton now has a winning record of 6-5. As for St. Dominic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Warrenton will be playing at home against Mexico at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mexico has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. St. Dominic has already played their next contest, a 66-50 win against Priory on the 31st.
