Basketball Recap: Rangeview Skates Past Woodland Park with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rangeview). They claimed a resounding 73-12 victory over the Woodland Park Panthers. With the Raiders ahead 49-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Rangeview found their leader in freshman Nylah Duncan, who went 5 for 7 on her way to 13 points and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Duncan has scored all season. Zania Romero-King was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Rangeview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Rangeview moved to 7-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Woodland Park, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rangeview will venture away from home to square off against Northfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodland Park, they will head out to face off against Strasburg at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
