Brewster has gone 8-2 against Manson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bears will square off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Brewster and three for Manson.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 54-22, which was the final score in Brewster's tilt against Liberty Bell on Friday.

Brewster might have lost, but man, Sam Arevalo was a machine: he rushed for 168 yards and one score while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 50 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Manson played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Okanogan 50-6. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 105th).

Brewster's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Manson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Brewster was able to grind out a solid win over Manson when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 28-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
