Basketball Recap: Sacred Heart Academy Find Success

Sacred Heart Academy won the last time they faced West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science, and things went their way on Friday too. Sacred Heart Academy came out on top against the West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science Eagles by a score of 58-46.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Acareon Thomas, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 12 points, to go along with eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Omari Thomas, who posted ten points.

Sacred Heart Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Sacred Heart Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Martin at 7:00 p.m. As for West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science, they will head out to challenge Algoma Christian at 5:45 p.m. on December 13th.
