Hobart entered their tilt with Whiting on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Oilers with a sharp 12-1 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Brickies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brandon Stafford was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had over his last ten matchups. Another player making a difference was Alexander Mays, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one double.

Hobart's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Whiting, their loss dropped their record down to 3-20.
