The Wolfson Wolfpack will venture away from home to square off against the Sandalwood Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wolfson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 14.3 runs per game this season.

Wolfson's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Ribault with a sharp 16-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.

Addison Booher made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one hit in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

In other batting news, Isabel Nieves was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Sarah Wisniewski, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2.

Wolfson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Sandalwood fell victim to Baldwin and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Indians. The Saints haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Sandalwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Wolfson, their record is now 5-2.

Sandalwood's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Wolfson hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .412. It's a different story for Sandalwood, though, as they've only averaged .183. Will they be able to contain Wolfson's hitters?

Wolfson might still be hurting after the 15-0 loss they got from Sandalwood when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Can Wolfson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
