Cactus' pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Agua Fria with a sharp 17-0 victory. The Cobras might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 12 runs or more this season.
Riley Kilgore was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rhyan Enos, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Mia Turner was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Cactus kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Cactus' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5. As for Peoria, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
Peoria's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Cactus hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .325. It's a different story for Peoria, though, as they've only averaged .246. Will they be able to contain Cactus' hitters?
