Bandys came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Lincolnton Wolves with a sharp 12-3 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 on Tuesday.

Haven Helton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.

In other batting news, Paige Barrymore was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jessie Sipe, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Bandys kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.1 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 10.4.

Bandys' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Lincolnton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Bandys wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Maiden on the 4th. As for Lincolnton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-2 defeat against West Caldwell on the 4th.
