Volleyball Game Preview: Eldorado Eagles vs. Elverado Falcons

The Eldorado Eagles will take on the Elverado Falcons in a tournament on Saturday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Eldorado has struggled recently with 46 losses in a row, while Elverado will arrive with ten straight victories.

On Thursday, Eldorado came up short against Carmi-White County and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-3.

Agape Christian typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Elverado proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Knights.

Elverado easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-8.

Elverado's victory bumped their record up to 26-3. As for Eldorado, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-21.

Eldorado couldn't quite get it done against Elverado in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
