Softball Recap: Clyde Takes a Loss

Clyde and Henrietta squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Clyde had to settle for second. They lost 10-4 to the Bearcats. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Bearcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Sutton McClain made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and one stolen base while going 3-for-3.

Clyde's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Henrietta, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Clyde nor Henrietta have any future games scheduled.
