Peninsula Catholic is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 23rd straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They had to suffer through a 87-5 loss at the hands of Norfolk Christian. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 61-1.

Meanwhile, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy ended up a good deal behind Norfolk Academy on Friday and lost 46-27. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peninsula Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Peninsula Catholic was dealt a bruising 49-17 loss at the hands of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Peninsula Catholic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
