Football Recap: Duchesne Skates Past Enterprise with Ease

Duchesne entered their tilt with Enterprise on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wolves 41-7. Surprisingly, this marked the Eagles' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Duchesne to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nashden Goodliffe, who rushed for 68 yards and one TD on only eight carries, and also threw for 123 yards and a pair of touchdowns. What's more, Goodliffe racked up 138.8 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Kasen Crum was another key back, rushing for 145 yards and a pair of scores.

Duchesne didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Wyatt Christenson and Rhett Clayburn.

Duchesne's record is now 4-1. As for Enterprise, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Duchesne will host North Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Enterprise, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Millard at 7:00 p.m. The Wolves will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.8 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
