Volleyball Recap: Edgemont Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Edgemont can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Bennett County Warriors on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-7, 25-18.

Raelee Provorse paced Edgemont's offense, picking up six kills. Provorse got some help from Kaylee Mergen and her three assists.

Edgemont's defeat dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Bennett County, the win (which was their 23rd in a row) raised their record to 36-4.

As of now, neither Edgemont nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
