Softball Recap: Ouachita Takes a Loss

Ouachita came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Parkers Chapel Trojans, falling 14-4. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Haley Eudy made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Tynlee Efird, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Ouachita has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Parkers Chapel, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-11 record.

Looking ahead, Ouachita will host Foreman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parkers Chapel, they will head out to face off against Woodlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
