Preview: Central Christian Saints vs. Santa Rosa Christian
The Central Christian Saints will head out on the road to challenge Santa Rosa Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Central Christian has five straight victories, Santa Rosa Christian has 12 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Central Christian put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat South Baldwin Christian Academy 69-31 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Central Christian has posted yet this season.
Central Christian relied on the efforts of Gabe Gregory, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, and Jarrod Harmon, who scored 28 points along with six steals and four blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gregory has scored all season. Isaac Argo was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Santa Rosa Christian suffered their biggest loss since November 7, 2023 on Monday. They were outmatched by Calvary Christian Academy at home and fell 68-28.
Central Christian's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32 points. As for Santa Rosa Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
