Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for North Yarmouth Academy

North Yarmouth Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Selena Nguyen. The Panthers came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Lewiston Blue Devils with plenty of help from Nguyen, who had 16 digs and eight aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last six games she's played.

North Yarmouth Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Lewiston into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-16, 25-16, 21-25, 15-12.

North Yarmouth Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Lewiston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, North Yarmouth Academy will welcome Gray-New Gloucester at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lewiston, they will head out on the road to square off against Gardiner at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
