Baseball Recap: Jackson Triumphs

Jackson's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Sheridan Generals a 3-0 shutout.

Jackson's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Seymour, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

The victory got Jackson back to even at 2-2. As for Sheridan, they moved to 4-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Jackson and Sheridan will both be playing Warren the next time they take the field. The Ironman/Ironladies will host the Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Generals will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
