Softball Game Preview: Legacy Charter Eagles vs. Lake Buena Vista Vipers

The Legacy Charter Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Lake Buena Vista Vipers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy Charter has given up an average of 7.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Legacy Charter's last matchup with First Academy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Thursday. Legacy Charter came up short against First Academy, falling 19-10.

Lake Buena Vista never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Evans last Thursday. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 20-5 victory. The Vipers have beaten the Trojans the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Trojans has come to flipping the script.

Zulmarie Vega was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two triples, and three RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiza Khan, who scored four runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Lake Buena Vista now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Legacy Charter, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.
