The HRK Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 22 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool 63-27 on the road. Winning may never get old, but HRK sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Leading HRK to victory were Molli Ward and Chelsey Gardner . Ward scored 18 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds, while Gardner scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Gardner has scored at least 25% of HRK's points. Ella Cavaiani was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
HRK's victory bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
HRK's road trip will continue as they head out to face Northeast Wisconsin Christian HomeSchool at 12:00 p.m. on January 13th. As for Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Legacy Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Legacy Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
