Volleyball Recap: St. Michael's Has No Trouble Against Texas School for the Deaf

St. Michael not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Texas School for the Deaf Rangers 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16, 25-9.

Ellie Ogden paced St. Michael's offense, picking up 14 kills. Ogden got some help from Frances Beiter and her 23 assists.

Texas School for the Deaf's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaelyn Sluyter-Coffey, who had 17 assists. Sulianie Casella also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

St. Michael's win bumped their record up to 18-8-1. As for Texas School for the Deaf, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10-1 record this season.

St. Michael's wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Geneva on the 13th. As for Texas School for the Deaf, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against St. Andrew's on the 12th.
