Basketball Recap: Eek Comes Up Short

Eek was the 62-51 winner over Lewis Angapak when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars came up short against the Blue Jays on Saturday, falling 61-40. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lewis Angapak found their leader in freshman Jayden McIntyre, who posted 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaret Andrew, who earned 15 points.

Eek's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Lewis Angapak, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Eek nor Lewis Angapak have any future games scheduled.
