Basketball Game Preview: Ripley Vikings vs. Nitro Wildcats

The Ripley Vikings will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Nitro Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Ripley is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Spring Valley on Saturday. Ripley was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 64-63 to Spring Valley. The Vikings have struggled against the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Nitro humbled Wayne with a 70-41 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Ripley's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Nitro, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
