Platteview waltzed into their contest on Thursday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. Everything went their way against the Wahoo Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-19.

Brooklyn Stehlik paced Platteview's offense, picking up 15 kills. Stehlik got some help from Kady Vanosdall and her 28 assists. Alexys Mandel controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Wahoo lost, don't look at Elena Estudillo. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and two assists. Estudillo has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played. Keira Johnston also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Platteview's record now sits at 22-3. As for Wahoo, they moved to 8-13 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Platteview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Malcolm on the 11th. As for Wahoo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Ashland-Greenwood on the 11th.
