Baseball Recap: Bloomfield Starts off Right with Win over Newark Tech

Bloomfield had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Newark Tech Terries.

Bloomfield saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pedro Valdes, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another was Jack Menake, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Coming up, Bloomfield will venture away from home to take on Cedar Grove at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newark Tech, they will host Union at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
