Baseball Game Preview: Valley Heights Mustangs vs. Onaga Buffaloes

The Valley Heights Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Onaga Buffaloes at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Valley Heights is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Friday just wasn't the day for Valley Heights' offense. They lost 11-0 to Marysville on Friday.

Valley Heights saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Warders, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Onaga didn't have quite enough to beat Frankfort on Friday and fell 5-3. The Buffaloes haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Valley Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Onaga, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Valley Heights suffered a grim 18-3 defeat to Onaga in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
