Volleyball Recap: West Valley Mustangs vs. Temescal Canyon Titans
After flying high against San Jacinto Leadership Academy last Tuesday, West Valley came back down to earth. West Valley came up short against the Temescal Canyon Titans on Friday, falling 3-0. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
While West Valley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 25-18.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Diego Allievi, who had seven kills, five digs, two aces, and one block. Allievi is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had five or more in each of the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlvin Valdez, who had 16 assists and five digs.
