Volleyball Recap: Kalena Rominski and Morgan Mccullough Secure Win for Eastland + How To Watch

Eastland won the last time they faced Dakota and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Indians 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Eastland had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-20, 25-8.

Leading Eastland to victory were Morgan McCullough and Kalena Rominski. McCullough had 16 digs and two assists, while Rominski had eight digs. That's the most digs McCullough has posted since back in October of 2024.

Eastland's record is now 2-0. As for Dakota, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coincidentally, Eastland and Dakota will both be playing River Ridge the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Wildcats on Friday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
