Mt. Carmel came out on top against La Jolla Country Day on Friday thanks in part to Trevor Taumoepeau's efforts. Taumoepeau threw for 249 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 87 yards and one score. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2024.
