A victory for Van-Far just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They lost 42-22 to the North Callaway Thunderbirds. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunderbirds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Van-Far's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gaven Gaston, who rushed for 94 yards on only seven carries. The dominant performance gave Gaston a new career-high in rushing yards.
