Baseball Game Preview: Dover-Sherborn Raiders vs. Walpole Timberwolves

The Dover-Sherborn Raiders will square off against the Walpole Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Dover-Sherborn's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Norton by a score of 5-0.

Matt Bowen and Will Forman did most of the damage at the plate: Bowen went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run, while Forman went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Those two doubles gave Bowen a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Wyatt, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Walpole not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9th (when they won 12-0). They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over Norwood.

The victory got Walpole back to even at 9-9. As for Dover-Sherborn, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.
