Softball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Seneca

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seneca). They blew past the Lakeview Sailors 17-1 on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bobcats with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory (which was Seneca's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Lakeview, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Seneca didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Eisenhower on the 17th. Lakeview has also already played their next game (against Moniteau), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
