Basketball Game Preview: Strong Bulldogs vs. Junction City Dragons

The Strong Bulldogs and the Junction City Dragons will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Strong is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a 71-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bearden.

Meanwhile, Junction City put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Fordyce by a score of 56-44.

Strong's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2. As for Junction City, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Strong beat Junction City 56-48 in their previous matchup back in February of 2016. Does Strong have another victory up their sleeve, or will Junction City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
