Basketball Game Preview: Sammamish RedHawks vs. Lakeside Lions

The Sammamish RedHawks will head out on the road to challenge the Lakeside Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Sammamish is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Skyline on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Sammamish took a blow against Skyline, falling 72-41. The RedHawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The losing side was boosted by Sophia Eastman, who posted 21 points. Another player making a difference was Raya Hildebrand, who scored six points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Lakeside put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Holy Names Academy 75-32. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Sammamish's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Lakeside, their win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0.
