Soccer Game Preview: Triway vs. Canton South

The Triway Titans will take on the Canton South Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Triway's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Triway's win against Northwest wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans' defense stepped up to hand the Indians a 1-0 shutout on Monday. Triway haven't had any issues with Northwest recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Canton South after they claimed the first goal on Monday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Manchester by a score of 2-1. Canton South have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Canton South's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Triway, they now have a winning record of 6-5-3.

Triway came out on top in a nail-biter against Canton South when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
